Dean R. Wimmer, CIC, CLU - President
Dean R. Wimmer's career with GCW began in 1977 as the office manager. He obtained his property/casualty license in 1978 and his life/accident/health license in 1980. In 1988 Dean passed his exam for the insurance broker's license and also became a partner in the agency.
In 1995, Dean earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) diploma and professional designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr. The CLU designation is awarded to persons who complete a ten-course program of study and 20 hours of supervised examinations. Courses cover the fundamentals of life and health insurance, pension planning, insurance law, income taxation, investments, financial and estate planning, and group benefits.
In 2004, Dean earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors in Austin, Texas. The CIC designation is awarded to insurance professionals following the successful completion of over 100 classroom hours of formal insurance training and successfully completing a series of five comprehensive examinations.
Dean is married with two children, and enjoys spending time with his family. Outside of the agency and his family, Dean is very active in his church, where he currently serves on numerous committees and is a past Church Council Chair. Dean also currently serves on the board of Penn View Christian School. Past community and professional involvement includes serving as a representative on the Agents Advisory Council to the Erie Insurance Group, Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Indian Valley, and former director of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce.
David A. Beck, CIC, CPIA -
Vice President
David A. Beck began his career with The Weimer Group in July of 1974, as a sales agent for personal lines property/casualty and life insurance. He became an Agency Principal/Partner in 1988 currently holding the title of Vice President.
In 1990, David earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor, and is a member of the Certified Professional Insurance Agents Society. He is a Past-President of the Daniel Boone Coffee House agents group representing the Erie Insurance Company.
In addition to his duties as Sales Manager and Partner, David is an member of the Bucks County Industrial Development Corporation, Bucks County Business League, and the Pennridge Chamber of Commerce, serving as a chamber director and chairperson of the annual Business Expo. He is a Past President of the Perkasie Lions Club, a member of MacCalla Masonic Lodge, Lehigh consistory and Rajah Shrine Temple. David is also an active supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, currently serving as a Committee Member of Troop #1, Sellersville PA. David is an avid motorcyclist both on and off road, and is a member of the Blue Comet Motorcycle Club and the Victory Motorcycle Club.
David is married with two children.

Michele J. Belair, CISR Office Supervisor
Michele has been employed with The Weimer Group since 1985 with an AGS degree from Montgomery County Community College. She became a licensed property/ casualty agent in 1986 and obtained the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 1990.
Michele has been the Office Manager for our agency since 1994.
Michele has two children.
Peg Hoff, CISR Personal Lines Manager, Perkasie
Peg began her insurance career during her junior year of high school, in June, 1982 as an employee of the Robert L Mitchell Agency . Her position at that time was Secretary /Receptionist. When The Weimer Group purchased the Mitchell agency in 1984, Peg remained on board with GCW.
In 1985 Peg passed her property/casualty exam and became a Customer Service Agent.
Peg attained the Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 1991. The Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives is a national non-profit organization dedicated to professional insurance education. CISR's are those individuals meeting the experience, education and ethical standards of the Society. The Society provides a positive learning opportunity for committed professionals in the insurance industry so that they may better serve their clients.
In 1994 Peg was promoted to Personal Lines Department Manager in our Perkasie office.
Peg is married and has two children.
Donna Bauer, CISR Personal Lines Manager, Harleysville
Donna began her insurance career in March of 1986 as a clerk . She passed the exam for her property/casualty license in November of 1986 and was promoted to personal lines customer service.
In November of 1990, Donna obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. She continues to maintain this professional designation each year by attending the courses required by the Society.
Donna's current position with the agency is as our Personal Lines Department Manager at the Harleysville office.
She is married with three children.
