George C. Weimer, CLU, LUTC
President

Licensed as a property/casualty agent in 1956 and as a Life agent in 1959, he received his Life Underwriting Training Council (LUTC) designation in 1961 and in 1970 he earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. George received numerous awards and recognition as one of Metropolitan Life's top life salesmen.

In 1968 George left Metropolitan Life to pursue another career by starting his own multi-line insurance agency. George passed his insurance broker exam in 1974.

In addition to his duties as CEO of GCW, George is an active member of his church, the Jaycees, the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce and was on the Souderton School Board for eight years.

George is a Veteran of WWII, married with three children and eight grandchildren.

David A. Beck, CIC, CPIA
Vice President

David A. Beck began his career with GCW in July of 1974, as a sales agent for personal lines property/casualty and life insurance.

In 1986 he passed the insurance broker exam, and in 1988 became a partner in the agency and currently holds the title of Vice President.

In 1990, David earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor, and is a member of the Certified Professional Insurance Agents Society. He is a Past-President of the Daniel Boone Coffee House Agents Advisory group for the Erie Insurance Company.

In addition to his duties as a Partner, Vice President and Sales Manager, specializing in the area of commercial and business related insurance coverage, for the agency, David is an active member of the Bucks County Industrial Development Corporation, Bucks County Business League, and the Pennridge Chamber of Commerce, serving as a chamber director and chairperson of the annual chamber golf outing. He is a Past President of the Perkasie Lions Club, is a member of MacCalla Masonic Lodge and has served as a director of the MacCalla Hall Association. He is also President of the Northeast Underwater Golfer's Association. David is also active as a Den Leader for Pack #196 Cub Scouts.

Recreational activities are scuba diving, pistol shooting, camping, woodworking, and golf.

David is married with two children.

Dean R. Wimmer, CLU
Secretary / Treasurer

Dean R. Wimmer's career with GCW began in 1977 as the office manager. He obtained his property/casualty license in 1978 and his life/accident/health license in 1980. In 1988 Dean passed his exam for the insurance broker's license and also became a partner in the agency. His current title is Secretary/Treasurer and also functions as the agency's controller.

In 1995, Dean earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) diploma and professional designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr. The CLU designation is awarded to persons who complete a ten-course program of study and 20 hours of supervised examinations. Courses cover the fundamentals of life and health insurance, pension planning, insurance law, income taxation, investments, financial and estate planning, and group benefits.

Dean is married with two children, and enjoys spending time with his family. Outside of the agency and his family, Dean is very active in his church, where he currently serves as Church Council Chair. Past community and professional involvement includes serving as a representative on the Agents Advisory Council to the Erie Insurance Group, Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Indian Valley, and former director of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Souderton Office

Michele J. Belair, CISR
Office Supervisor

Michele has been employed with GCW since 1985 with an AGS degree from Montgomery County Community College. She became a licensed property/casualty agent in 1986 and obtained the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 1990.

Michele has been the Office Manager for our Souderton agency since 1986. In 1994 she took on the added responsibility of managing the Perkasie agency along with the Souderton agency.

Michele is married with two children.

Peg Hoff, CISR
Personal Lines Manager, Perkasie

Peg began her insurance career during her junior year of high school, in June, 1982 as an employee of the Robert L Mitchell Agency . Her position at that time was Secretary /Receptionist. When GCW purchased the Mitchell agency in 1984, Peg remained on board with GCW.

In 1985 Peg passed her property/casualty exam and became a Customer Service Agent.

Peg attained the Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 1991. The Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives is a national non-profit organization dedicated to professional insurance education. CISR's are those individuals meeting the experience, education and ethical standards of the Society. The Society provides a positive learning opportunity for committed professionals in the insurance industry so that they may better serve their clients.

In 1994 Peg was promoted to Personal Lines Department Manager in our Perkasie office.

Peg is married and has some really neat dogs.

Donna Bauer, CISR
Personal Lines Manager, Souderton

Donna began her insurance career in March of 1986 as a clerk . She passed the exam for her property/casualty license in November of 1986 and was promoted to personal lines customer service.

In November of 1990, Donna obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. She continues to maintain this professional designation each year by attending the courses required by the Society.

Donna's current position with the agency is as our Personal Lines Department Manager in the Souderton office.

She is married with three children.
